Sanhe Power has successfully delivered a full EPC wind-solar-storage-gas microgrid project for a major state-owned energy company's oilfield production facility in the desert region of northwestern China.
The off-grid system integrates 181kWp photovoltaic generation, 30kW wind power, a 150kW / 645kWh battery energy storage system, and 500kW gas generation (repurposing existing generators). This multi-energy complementary architecture ensures reliable 24/7 power supply for critical oilfield operations, significantly reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
As Sanhe Power's first complete oilfield microgrid EPC project, this achievement validates the company's end-to-end capabilities in design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The project demonstrates Sanhe's deep understanding of oil & gas industry requirements and its ability to deliver robust solutions in extreme desert environments – proving a replicable model for green energy transition in remote industrial applications.
